From plans to a BOQ, step by step
BOQIFY does the quantity takeoff from the plans and prepares the bill of quantities automatically.
Three steps from plans to a bill of quantities
-
Upload your plans
Add DWG, DXF or vector PDF files. For Revit, use an IFC export (recommended) or an RVT file through your studio's own Autodesk account.
-
BOQIFY measures and counts
The AI reads the drawings, measures and counts, and prepares the lines of the BOQ.
-
You review, then a professional signs
You review every line and correct what needs it. A licensed professional signs, and the signed version is frozen with a fingerprint.
The system shows where each line comes from
Every line has a confidence tier and its provenance: the sheet, the layer and the entity. Use the tier to decide where to look first.
You can follow each number back to the plan and check it there.
More ways BOQIFY helps with a BOQ
-
Check a BOQ you already have
The validator runs checks on an existing BOQ. It reads Excel, PDF and Word files.
-
It learns your studio
BOQIFY learns your studio profile, and your corrections improve later BOQs.
-
Share with your team
The roles are owner, admin, editor and viewer. You can also share a read-only link, and it expires after 90 days at most.
Take the bill of quantities where you need it
BOQIFY gives you the BOQ in the formats your team uses.
- Excel (.xlsx), including your own Excel file, annotated in place
- A printable A4 PDF, right to left
- CSV and JSON
- A priced version
- An API connection to your systems
