Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data this website collects, why, who receives it and how to contact us. The operator of the site is BOQify.

Who runs this website

This website is run by BOQify. In this policy "we" means the operator of the site.

This policy covers this website only. It does not cover the use of the BOQIFY software itself.

What we collect

• Contact form: your name, work email, phone number (optional), company, role, company size, what you would like, your message, your confirmation that we may contact you, the language of the page and the form you used.
• Newsletter: your email address and the language of the form. We send one email with a link. Until you confirm, we keep your address at our email provider as not confirmed, and we send you no issue.
• Analytics, only if you accept: the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, your approximate location taken from your IP address, and a count of form submissions. We do not send the content of your forms to the analytics service.
• Spam check: the forms use a spam-check service. It looks at technical signals, such as your IP address and browser, to tell people from bots. It loads only when you touch a form, and we treat it as strictly necessary.
• Chat assistant, if you use it: the messages you type and the answers you get. The assistant answers from the pages of this site. We do not store chat messages. Please do not type personal details in the chat.
• Technical records: our hosting provider records each request, including the IP address, the time, the address of the page and the browser. We also keep short-lived counters of requests per IP address, to stop abuse. If error monitoring is switched on, it receives error reports without the content of your forms.

Why we use it and on what basis

You are not required by law to give us any of this data. You give it voluntarily. Without it we cannot answer your request.

• To answer your request and to arrange a demo: you send the form and confirm that we may contact you.
• To send the newsletter: you ask for it and confirm it with a link. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every issue.
• To count and understand visits: only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.
• To answer your questions in the chat assistant.
• To run the site and to stop spam and abuse.

Who receives your data

We use service providers who process data for us. We name them here by what they do.

• Email provider (Resend): sends us the contact form as an email, sends the newsletter confirmation and the newsletter issues, and stores the newsletter list.
• Spreadsheet service (Google Sheets): holds a backup copy of each contact form.
• Messaging service (Telegram): sends us an alert about a new request. The alert normally has only a reference number and what you asked for. If the email and the spreadsheet both fail, it has the full request, so that we do not lose it.
• Spam-check service (Cloudflare Turnstile): checks that a form is sent by a person.
• Analytics service (Google Analytics 4): receives usage data only after you accept analytics.
• AI service (Anthropic): receives the messages you type in the chat assistant, together with the text of this site that the assistant answers from, and sends back the answer. We do not store chat messages. The provider processes the messages and may keep them for a limited time under its own terms.
• Hosting provider (Vercel): serves the site and runs the code that receives the forms.
• Rate-limit store (Upstash): keeps the short-lived counters of requests per IP address.
• Error monitoring (Sentry), if it is switched on: receives error reports.

Transfer outside Israel

Some of these providers process data on servers outside Israel. When you send a form, subscribe to the newsletter, use the chat assistant or accept analytics, your data can be transferred and stored outside Israel. We use these providers only for the purposes in this policy.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for. Newsletter data stays until you unsubscribe. An address that you did not confirm stays until you confirm it or ask us to delete it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time. See "Your rights" below.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it and to delete it. Write to us at contact@boqify.ai and tell us which address or name you used. We will answer your request.

You can withdraw your consent to analytics at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in every issue. You may also contact the Privacy Protection Authority in Israel.

Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising cookies. This is what the site stores in your browser:

• boqify_consent (local storage of your browser): saves your cookie choice. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. After 12 months we ask you again. Strictly necessary.
• boqify_chat (session storage of your browser): keeps the conversation of the chat assistant in the open tab for up to 30 minutes, so it stays when you move to another page. It stays on your device. It is removed when you start a new conversation or close the tab. Strictly necessary for the chat.
• Spam-check data (set by the spam-check service): the service may keep technical data in your browser to tell people from bots. It loads only when you touch a form. Strictly necessary.
• _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier (cookies of Google Analytics): tell visitors and visits apart. They are set only after you accept analytics, and we delete them when you withdraw. The analytics provider sets their lifetime.

Children

This website is for professionals in the building and design industry. It is not meant for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may change this policy. The current version is always on this page.
